Fanatik report David Ospina’s agent is currently in Istanbul to hold talks with Fenerbahce over a potential transfer to the Turkish club.
After Colombia’s elimination from the World Cup, Fanatik say Fenerbahce have upped their efforts to sign the Arsenal goalkeeper and talks are said to be progressing positively. The Turkish newspaper suggests Fenerbahce’s officials met with Ospina in Russia last week.
According to Fanatik, Arsenal are ready to let him go for a cut-price fee as the arrival of Bernd Leno has made Ospina 3rd choice goalkeeper for next season,
It’s also claimed Fenerbahce are currently leading the race to sign the Arsenal man ahead of Boca Juniors, and a deal is expected in the near future.
Fenerbahce are hoping to resolve their ongoing goalkeeper situation by signing the 29 year old before the transfer deadline.
Ospina is contracted to Arsenal until June 2019 and with the arrival of Leno this summer he may need to move on in this window.
