Mesut Ozil is expected to fly to Turkey to complete his move from Arsenal to Fenerbahce either tomorrow evening or Monday.
The midfielder is currently negotiating an end to his time with Arsenal, where he has been out of the picture since the beginning of the season.
Both parties have been negotiating a contract termination this month, with reports in England today stating that they were close to reaching an agreement to make that happen, after similar claims a week ago from Turkey.
That is expected to finalised ASAP, and Ozil will waste no time in making his next step, with Fenerbahce waiting to welcome him with open arms.
DHA report that they have ‘invited’ Ozil to join their squad and he will travel to Istanbul, on president Ali Koç’s private plane, to finalise his move in the next two days.
The flight details are expected to be complete tomorrow.
Fenerbahce are planning a ‘magnificent signing ceremony’ for Ozil, who will sign a three-year deal at the Super Lig club once he is officially released by Arsenal.
He’s even sorted out his living arrangements, with the player and his family set to live in temporary residence while a villa that he bought in Çamlıca is renovated.
