Arsenal are reportedly one of the clubs who are in the chase for Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans, and it turns out those claims are brought today by the Italian media.
It’s newspaper Tuttosport who features a story about the 24-year-old and the clubs who want to take him from the Foxes in the next summer.
Since his contract with Leicester City expires in 2023, it’s said it’s ‘highly unlikely’ Tielemans would stay at the club for the next season in case an extension isn’t agreed in the next couple of months.
So Juventus have been watching this situation, and according to Tuttosport, Arsenal are one of the ‘top clubs’ who have the midfielder ‘in their sights’.
The Gunners are mentioned alongside Manchester United as the sides who are ‘above all’ in the race for the Belgian midfielder.
Now since Juventus are also in the race, and reportedly recently had a scout watching the player, it sounds like an auction could be coming on for Tielemans this summer.
Then again, if it’s the Turin side versus Arsenal and it solely comes down to money, we all know who is likeliest to win.
