Eden Hazard’s departure from Real Madrid seems to have become an urgent matter at the club, with the Spanish media featuring several stories about it in recent days.
The club’s urge to transfer him out also means they must look for suitors for his signing, and that work is today described by outlet Defensa Central.
The outlet points out the priority would be to let Hazard go on a permanent deal, but if that can’t be achieved, then he could leave on a loan, which is where Arsenal come in.
The Gunners are named as one of the candidates to land the 31-year-old on a temporary spell. For that to happen, Real Madrid would just like the interested club to pay for part of his salary.
Hazard currently makes €15m per season at the Santiago Bernabeu, and the Spanish giants expect the bidders, among which could be Arsenal, to pay between 65% and 75% of his salary to have him on loan.
Still, that’s called their ‘last resource’, and will only happen in case they can’t get to sell him this summer.
Just yesterday, we’d already seen the same website talking about Arsenal’s ‘trump card’ to land Hazard.
They claimed that the good relationship with Real Madrid and Martin Oodegard’s happiness at the club could help the Gunners to achieve the signing of the Belgian.
