Inter tried to sign Tavares in the summer of 2023, but the fee requested by Arsenal was ‘out of line’. There’s no mention of the English club’s request, and the Nerazzurri ended up signing Carlos Augusto.
Lazio are now capitalising on both Atalanta and Inter refusing to bet on Tavares.
