AC Milan are looking at Manchester United’s Victor Lindelöf to bolster their squad in 2025.
That’s according to MilanLive.it, who state the 30-year-old can be a market opportunity for the Serie A side as his deal expires at the end of this season.
Zlatan Ibrahimović, who is the advisor to the Milan owners, is leading the pursuit of the Manchester United player.
It’s claimed Ibrahimović wants the centre-back at the San Siro ‘at all costs’. The advisor and Milan technical director Geoffrey Moncada are looking at potential free signings for next summer.
The Sweden international is included in their list. Ibrahimović knows him well from their time with the national team and at Manchester United.
It’s said the former Benfica man could be a good option for the Rossoneri, while they can get an experienced player in the form of Lindelöf.
MilanLive.it state there’s ‘a lot of competition’ to sign the Swede, including from clubs in Italy. Inter Milan are mentioned, but they would focus on a young defender. Ibrahimović could help Milan to get ahead of the competition to sign his compatriot.
Lindelöf has made one appearance for Manchester United this season and it came in their goalless draw against Aston Villa on Sunday.
