Italian website Tutto Mercato Web brings some interesting news about Mehdi Benatia on Tuesday.
The outlet claims that the player isn’t happy with his situation at Juventus, as he hasn’t started all the games as he thought he would. That was already known, he’s made it clear himself.
Signed from Bayern Munich on a €17m deal in 2017, Benatia had been a regular starter in his first season in Turin. But now, with the return of Leonardo Bonucci to the club, he’s been mostly kept on the bench.
That’s why he could soon be on his way out, and according to TMW, two clubs are already working to know the conditions of a possible deal. One of them is AC Milan, and the other is Arsenal.
The website reports that Juve’s evaluation is that Benatia is worth at least €15m, and that’s what will feed through to Arsenal. Or as TMW calls them, ‘biancorossi’, white and red.
Arsenal are said to have ‘made first contacts’ for the signing.
