Juventus have not ruled out a loan deal for midfielder Arthur, with Arsenal remaining keen on the Brazilian.
That’s according to Corriere Dello Sport, who say the Gunners ‘have been interested for months’ and may be given a chance to get their man.
The newspaper explains that while the focus is on incomings, Juventus also need to get rid of players to balance the books.
Arthur is at the top of the list of transferable players, and he would also like to find a new club, so there is at least an agreement on that front.
The problem is that Juventus still have €46-67m left on their books from the deal that brought him to the club and that, coupled with a ‘super salary’, makes finding a suitor difficult.
Arsenal have been interested in him for months, and Monaco have also made moves, but it is up to the player’s agent, Federico Pastorello, to find the ‘right solution’.
This is something he has been working on this week, and Juventus are not ruling out the possibility of a loan.
They are also suggesting a possible player exchange, particularly with Gabriel Magalhaes, who they are interested in. He’s been linked in the last few months, but that has ‘cooled down’ for now.
Either way, there is a deal there to be done for Arthur, with the possibility Arsenal could even get him on loan and avoid a high asking price.
