According to Sdna.Gr, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has asked for detailed reports on Olympiacos midfielder Mady Camara, after the player impressed him last week at the Emirates.
The player was one of the reasons Pedro Martins’ side managed to eliminate Arsenal, and Sdna report Arteta wants to get a lowdown on him ahead of the next window.
It’s claimed Arsenal could be in the mix to sign the 23 year old, who was also linked with a move to Sheffield United in January. Sdna say Olympiacos rejected a €10m offer from the Yorkshire club as Chris Wilder looked to bolster his squad,
After joining from French side AC Ajaccio in 2018, Camara has been key for Erythrolefki, and his performances have caught the eye of some of Europe’s major clubs.
Olympiacos reportedly value him at €20m, and a summer exit could happen if Arsenal or any other interested club agree to pay this sum.
Camara has made 37 appearances for his club in all competitions and is under contract at the Georgios Karaiskakis Arena until June 2023.
