Earlier this week, we covered an article stating that Arsenal had made a move for Renato Sanches in the summer.
They had ‘knocked on the door’ of Lille for the Portuguese midfielder, who now has his ‘suitcases ready’, but it seemed that the Ligue 1 side’s demands of around €35m had put the Gunners off.
However, they haven’t forgotten about the Lille man, and Le10 Sport state Arsenal are ‘very interested’ by the former Bayern Munich player, and have ‘already taken the step of making their interest known to Sanches himself, his agent and the club’.
That being said, ‘they have not made an offer as of yet’, but it’s believed they could ‘go on the attack in the coming week’.
As things stand, both Milan and the Gunners are ‘the most active’ on the Lille star, and it’s already well known that the French club would be willing to accept offers if they are deemed good enough.
One to keep an eye on.
