Arsenal have started talks with Layvin Kurzawa, according to claims coming from France on Wednesday evening.
It’s RMC with the report, and they explain the talks are with the idea that Kurzawa could move to the Gunners in the summer. His PSG contract expires at the end of June and there’s been mixed reports about a potential renewal and interest for the fullback.
Claims of interest from elsewhere haven’t really come to anything, so there may not be a great deal of competition for Arsenal in that regard.
Despite the initial idea being a summer move, RMC state it’s not excluded Kurzawa could be the subject of an offer in the winter market instead.
Mikel Arteta is said to have given his approval to the potential signing, and the talks are on the basis of a five year contract for Kuzawa. The player himself is presented as being keen on a move to the Premier League.
Should it be thought the need is there right now, then Arsenal could proceed with an offer for a January move.
