The Coronavirus outbreak has not only led to the suspension of football across Europe, but it’s also expected to result in financial loses for several clubs.
Denmark’s BT takes a look at how each Danish club can reduce the economic damage by selling some of their players in the summer. For Brøndby, Anis Ben Slimane can be of great help.
It’s claimed that Arsenal are keen on the 19-year-old, who made his first team debut earlier this year. The midfielder has an assist and a goal to his name from four league appearances.
The Gunners have registered their interested in the midfielder with Brøndby’s management and the latter are demanding €5m for Anis Ben Slimane. His contract runs down in 2023.
BT, however, doesn’t mention whether or not the north London club are willing to meet Brøndby’s demands for Anis Ben Slimane.
In January, Fotboll Skanalen reported that Manchester United, AC Milan and Arsenal scouts were present for IFK Norrköping’s clash against Brøndby.
Brøndby forward Simon Hedlund then suggested the aforementioned clubs could have been there to watch Anis Ben Slimane or West Ham United owned Sead Haksabanovic, who is currently on loan at Norrköping.
