Genk striker Paul Onuachu has again openly admitted his love for Arsenal as he continues to work hard to try and convince the Gunners into a move.
Onuachu has been in fine form in Belgium this season, ending as the season’s top goalscorer with 35 to his name.
That tally has already seen him voted Pro Footballer of the Year courtesy of his displays, another factor that could lead to a move this summer.
He’s already been linked with the Premier League, with Liverpool the latest to have shown an interest, according to reports.
Arsenal are the club he wants, though, with Onuachu having named them as his ‘dream’ club back in April and a report not long after stating that he ‘hopes to end up at Arsenal’ this summer.
Whether Mikel Arteta and co are actually interested isn’t yet known, but he’s continuing his efforts to make it a thing nonetheless.
“I just wanted to work harder this season, and I’m happy to be rewarded with this award,” he told Eleven Sports, relayed by Walfoot.
“Arsenal is my dream club. It’s the club I support, that I like to watch and whose style of play I like.
“However, I am still in Belgium and I am still a Genk player.”
