Arsenal are thought to be in the market for a striker this summer, having let Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang move to Barcelona in the January window.

Alexandre Lacazette’s contract expires at the end of June, but even if there’s a late renewal and the Frenchman stays, Mikel Arteta will still likely be expecting a qualify addition in attack.

Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez is one option, with the South American attracting interest from several clubs.

FC Inter News cover Catalan claims of a possible move to Barcelona, a deal which would see some fringe Barca players involved. According to the Inter source, there’s no way such a transfer will happen.

Should the Serie A side part with Martinez then they want a full cash deal, and given Arsenal and Atletico Madrid both have ‘concrete interest’ and have already moved forward for the signing, it’s not thought they need to compromise.

Lautaro Martinez is 24-years-of-age and has scored 15 goals in 29 Serie A matches so far this season
