It’s no surprise that Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at Juventus should attract more players to the Turin club. And apparently, this is already happening.
Local newspaper Tuttosport has a story today saying that Aleksandr Golovin is now interested in signing for the Old Lady, and has already send messages to the Italian champions.
The outlet takes it as a good sign because of the competition the club was about to face. Both Arsenal and Chelsea would be interested in the midfielder as well, but the insiders believe he’s more keen on the move to Juve.
Juventus have reportedly presented two bids for Golovin so far, with the last one being of €25m plus €5m in bonuses. CSKA, however, are demanding €30m.
Arsenal and Chelsea need to act quickly, not only to convince the player, but also to get to an agreement with CSKA, as the Premier League transfer windows will be closing before the others this year.
And Golovin is not the only midfielder who Juventus are expecting competition from Arsenal. The Old Lady are also monitoring the situation of Adrien Rabiot at PSG, especially because the player could leave the club for free next year.
Tuttosport claims that Arsenal are also keeping an eye on the French midfielder, so he’s one more who Juve are head to head with the Gunners for.
But given Arsenal have signed two midfielders this week, they probably don’t need another like Rabiot and it’s unlikely they’d be willing to pay what PSG would want.
