Evan Ndicka has been repeatedly linked to Arsenal over the past week or so, with multiple claims from around Europe saying the Gunners are considering a move for the Eintracht Frankfurt player.
The 23-year-old Frenchman has made 17 appearances for the Bundesliga club so far this season, playing nearly every minute of every match. Unfortunately for Eintracht, his contract expires in the summer and without a renewal they’ll look to sell in the winter market.
There’s an offer on the table for a new deal, although hope is fading that Ndicka or his teammate Daichi Kamada, who also has a contract expiring, will sign up.
Interest from Arsenal in the defender will not be helpful in that regard.
For Arsenal there’s now some clarity on a price, and whilst the figure is put a bit higher than previous claims suggested, there’s still a potential bargain there for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Bild say if a club offered ‘around €15m’ in the winter market, then Eintracht would ‘let him go’, as long as there’s no chance of a renewal.
With the word ‘around’ being used, there’s obviously the suggestion Arsenal could get the player for even less.
