In search of a new left-back, as shown by their reported interest in Bologna’s Aaron Hickey, Arsenal have scouted more than one club in Italy.
As well as the Scottish defender, the Gunners have cast their net in Milan, with Inter’s Federico Dimarco reportedly on their wishlist.
This is according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who claim the 24-year-old, who made 32 appearances in Serie A last year, is of interest to Arsenal.
In fact, the side led by Mikel Arteta have ‘asked for information’ about Dimarco, but Inter aren’t keen on selling.
It’s stated the left-back is seen as ‘an important player’ for the Serie A side and their manager, Simone Inzaghi, which was shown by their renewal of his contract towards the end of 2021 until 2026.
However, ‘faced with a figure of around €20-25m’, TuttoMercatoWeb say Inter ‘could clearly reflect’ on the player’s future.
Arsenal therefore know what to do if they want to get their man.
