Arsenal and Chelsea are expected to battle it out for Paris Saint-Germain advisor Luís Campos.

That’s at least what Le10 Sport are reporting, and they state Arsenal and Chelsea have had him on their agenda for several months.

It’s further claimed both Arsenal and Chelsea have been ‘pushing hard’ to try and sign the Portuguese.

Mikel Arteta’s side have been without a sporting director since Edú Gaspar left them last November. The report states the Gunners want Campos and are pushing hard to convince him to leave PSG.

Chelsea have Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart as the two sporting directors while Glenn van der Kraan is their technical director.

The Blues want to make Campos the CEO of football, where he will have major role with more functions when compared to that of a traditional director of football.

Campos hasn’t made a decision yet and the report states ‘discussions are ongoing’, likely with Arsenal and Chelsea.

At the weekend, the 60-year-old was spotted in London and Le10 have found out that he was indeed in the English capital. However, they aren’t aware of the reason for his trip.
