Arsenal are an option for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer, with it increasingly likely he will leave the Serie A club this summer.
The Frenchman arrived in Italy from PSG on a free transfer last summer but has endured a difficult first season in Turin.
His relationship with the club has soured in recent weeks, with him unhappy at being forced to take a pay cut and them questioning his attitude amid a lack of willingness to return from isolation ahead of schedule.
He has thus been linked with a move away and, according to L’Equipe, Arsenal are a potential destination for him.
They say that Mikel Arteta ‘appreciates the profile’ of the French midfielder, who has made it clear he is ‘not opposed’ to a move to the Premier League.
His preference is to move to Everton and be reunited with Carlo Ancelotti, who gave him his debut at PSG, but his €7.5m wages make it difficult for the Blues to get a deal done.
Such high wages would presumably be difficult for Arsenal to match too, while Juve’s valuation of €35m could be challenging given the rumoured financial restraints at the Emirates at present.
