When covering transfer sagas, we all know how seriously things are getting when people start following flights to check if players and agents are travelling to countries where they could move to.

For those who love these situations, there are interesting claims coming from the Argentine media today.

TNT Sports journalist Hernan Castillo has shown up live this afternoon claiming he has information on the aeroplane owned by former Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

He says the private jet owned by the player is set to leave the Catalan capital between tonight and tomorrow and fly to Nice.

Even though the French city is far from Paris, it’s claimed that there’ll be a meeting in Nice, where the agreement with Paris Saint Germain could be reached. They’ve chosen that place to avoid drawing too much attention.

Castillo doesn’t know if Messi will be on that plane. All he knows is that after the stop in Nice, two people are taking a flight to Buenos Aires.

His sources say there’s everything verbally greed with Paris Saint Germain, as only his signature is left for the contract. It’s claimed Messi will earn a lot more at the French side than he did at Barcelona.
