Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will make another attempt to sign Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid in the winter, according to reports from Spain.
Diário Madridista says the Blues’ boss is in love with the striker as he seeks a solution for their bad form in the Premier League.
Conte reportedly believes that the signing of a forward would improve the teams’s firepower, as the number of goals scored is his biggest concern, and an approach in the winter would be the most likely scenario.
The website take their own claims from the summer window to say Chelsea had offered €70m, but Real Madrid rejected the approach and said he’s not for sale.
The striker has scored two goals in 10 appearances for the Galacticos since being signed back from Juventus for €30m. Diário Madridista says both the player and club are pretty happy with his return and none of them think of a transfer right now.
