With 20 goals and five assists so far this season, Morata has certainly contributed for Madrid, but when the biggest games come, and everyone is fit, the Spaniard takes a backseat as Karim Benzema gets the nod.
Marca say Madrid letting Morata leave would be ‘almost unforgivable’ given that strikers with such good records don’t exactly grow on trees.
A fan favourite, there’d be some disquiet if Madrid sold Morata to Chelsea this summer.
A decision either way will have to be made and if Morata really pushes for an exit, knowing Conte is waiting at Chelsea for him, then a move is quite possible.
