Milliyet’s Galatasaray reporter Nevzat Dindar has told Asist Analiz the Istanbul side are interested in signing Aston Villa’s Trezeguet ahead of the summer transfer window.
Yesterday we covered reports from France that the Aston Villa winger is a target for Galatasaray and Besiktas, and Dizdar has also confirmed Gala’s interest in the 25 year old.
Reporting on the Aston Villa man, Dizdar added Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim is a huge fan of the player and he’s behind the pursuit.
The Super Lig side were linked with Trezeguet when he was playing for Kasimpasa, but the former Anderlecht player joined Dean Smith’s side last summer for €11m.
He’s made 31 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring four goals. His contract at Villa will expire at the end of June 2023.
