Fortuna Sittard goalkeeper Ivor Pandur is ‘about to transfer’ to Hull City, with the 23-year-old set for a medical today.

That’s according to Voetbal International, who say the technical management at Sittard have reluctantly accepted the offer from Hull City as it was ‘too good to refuse’.

They explain that Hull City are willing to pay around €2m for the goalkeeper, who only joined the Dutch side on a permanent basis in the summer.

He had been on loan with them from Hellas Verona since July 2022 but convinced Sittard enough for them to activate an option to sign him on a permanent basis on a four-year deal.

VI say the club did this with a view a ‘lucrative transfer’ down the line and that is now ‘imminent’ as Hull City have made their move for him.

Fortuna have been struggling with financial limitations for a while and the income from Pandur’s sale to Hull will presumably help on that front.

He’s now set for a medical and to finalise the move, with everything seemingly done and dusted and Fortuna more than happy for him to depart.
