Juventus have ‘already prepared a €60m offer’ to try and sign Darwin Núñez from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to Fichajes.net, who report that the striker has become one of the ‘priority options’ for the Italian side in the next transfer window.

They report that Juventus are targeting Núñez as they prepare for Dusan Vlahovic to depart. He’ll need to be replaced, and the Liverpool striker is the man they want to do it.

Their board has already prepared a €60m offer to try and convince Liverpool into a sale. They paid €85m to sign him from Benfica in July 2022.

The growing belief is that the striker will be moved on by Liverpool in the summer after failing to convince Arne Slot this season. They, though, will need a convincing offer if they are to sanction an exit.

Juventus’ offer would depend on Vlahovic going first, thus providing them with the money to approach Liverpool for Núñez.

We, though, would debate that as it seems unlikely that Juventus would ever make such a big offer for a player in this circumstance, particularly one who has not exactly set the Premier League alight during his time at Anfield.

They are likely to be willing to make an effort, particularly if they have money from Vlahovic departing, but €60m sounds too high for a team who have always been careful with their money and have a near-obsession for initial loan deals.
