GoalBien and Fanatik claim Trabzonspor have an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur to loan Moussa Sissoko for the season.
Trabzonspor want to sign Sissoko as a gift to their fans, ahead of the club’s 50th year anniversary.
Fanatik say the Tottenham player will fly to Turkey today on a private jet, GoalBien say he’s set to complete his medical and formalities ahead of the proposed transfer.
Turkish newspaper Fanatik also report Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta has reached an agreement with Tottenham over a loan deal. According to Fanatik, Sissoko will earn €3.5m a season with the Turkish side, and no loan fee will be paid to Tottenham.
Usta recently travelled to England to get a deal done for the Tottenham midfielder, and the Turkish press believe there’s been a breakthrough.
With the player struggling to get into Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up, an exit seemed the likeliest option for Sissoko ahead of the World Cup next summer.
The Turkish media are usually very optimistic on behalf of their own clubs, and perhaps this all sounds a little too good to be true for Trabzonspor. The thought of Tottenham accepting a loan with no fee is quite hard to compute.
