Italian outlet Calciomercato today features a piece on the clients of agent Volker Struth, who has been travelling in Italy and visiting Serie A clubs.
One of the players represented by the official is Chelsea centre-forward Timo Werner, who seems to fit Juventus’ plans for the summer window.
It’s pointed out his position is one of those that the Old Lady want to reinforce at the end of the season, and his situation at the Blues could favour a move.
Calciomercato says Werner now has a market value of only €40m, which is half of what is used to be when he got to Chelsea.
The problem, however, is that his salary at the Stamford Bridge is of £14m per season, which is far too much for Italian clubs.
The story claims Werner is ‘open to the idea of changing shirts’, and since Juventus already thought of taking from Chelsea in January, this could be a big opportunity for the Bianconeri.
