There’s a claim in the Turkish media that West Ham United forward Michail Antonio has been offered to Galatasaray.
The 34-year-old will out of contract with the Hammers next summer and can speak to overseas clubs in the new year over a pre-contract agreement.
Takvim have reported on the latest developments regarding the future of Antonio, and say agents have given Galatasaray the chance to sign the player.
It’s reported Gala manager Okan Buruk is keen to bring in a forward during the next transfer window, which would be as back up for Victor Osimhen. The Nigeria international is currently on loan with the Super Lig side from Napoli.
However, Buruk is reportedly not convinced about bringing in Antonio during the January window and has vetoed signing the West Ham man.
The Turkish media outlet say Antonio is among a number of forwards which have been linked with Galatasaray in recent weeks and it seems they will look elsewhere.
Antonio has made nine appearances for West Ham this season, scoring one goal.
