Turkish champions Besiktas are in the market for a winger, and they have been linked with Liverpool’s Lazar Markovic, report Fanatik.
The Turkish newspaper claim the Serbian winger has been offered to Besiktas via agents, and the Black Eagles are currently considering whether to pursue this. Markovic spent the 2015/16 season on loan at Fenerbahçe, but injuries hampered his progress at the Yellow Canaries.
The 23 year old spent the second half of last season on loan at Hull City from Liverpool, and despite the club’s relegation Markovic produced some good performances.
However, it’s not been enough to convince Jurgen Klopp the player has a Liverpool future, and he could move on this summer.
Besiktas are considering a loan offer for Markovic, and Liverpool are again open to leasing out the player. With Liverpool recently signing Mohamed Salah, Markovic’s chances will be further limited next season, and he may need to find club which can give him more opportunities.
