Chelsea defender Malang Sarr is an option for AC Milan as they eye up a replacement for the injured Simon Kjaer in the January transfer window.
The Danish defender recently suffered a serious knee injury and that will force the defender to miss the rest of the season.
It leaves a huge hole in Milan’s defence, which means they will be forced to go into the January transfer market to find a replacement.
There are numerous names already being linked and now Tuttosport, relayed by Milan News, throw Chelsea’s Sarr into the mix.
They say that Sarr is one of the tracks being ‘carefully’ followed by the Italian club as he is ‘seriously considering’ a move next month after managing just four appearances for Chelsea this season.
He’s given a ‘mandate’ to agent Federico Pastorello when it comes to Italy and he ‘could soon’ start talking to Milan to see if the margins are there for an agreement.
That could happen as there are ‘excellent relations’ between Chelsea and the Rossoneri club, who have done deals in the past for the likes of Fikayo Tomori, Olivier Giroud and Tiemoue Bakayoko.
