It appears that Rangers are about to find themselves in a situation where they are going to have to a chat with an unhappy agent.

That’s what Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu is reporting on X on Wednesday about a situation that involves Ridvan Yilmaz.

The 22-year-old has been used at Rangers under Philippe Clement, but seemingly not enough, and that’s the problem.

Necdet Ergezen, his agent, has already travelled to Scotland to meet with the Ibrox side, because they are ‘not very happy’ with his ‘playing stability’.

It remains to be seen what the cause of all this is, as the left-back did start the three games against Hibernian, Hearts and Dundee, but then ended up on the bench against Livingston FC, and never coming on in the most recent Scottish League Cup game.

There is also the big question mark surrounding him being left out of the Europa League squad, although that was a decision made by Michael Beale at the time.

The meeting is expected to take place soon if Ergezen has already travelled, and the issue discussed will be the ‘future of the player’.

Whether that means they will push for a loan, a transfer or promise for more playing time isn’t said, but talks will be taking place.
