Slavia Prague’s El Hadji Malick Diouf could make a switch to Brighton & Hove Albion in the winter market.

That’s according to Africa Foot, and their title says the left-back ‘heads to Brighton’. Within the report, they state his agent ‘confirms’ the Seagulls’ interest in signing him.

At the weekend, claims from the UK stated the Seagulls have taken the lead to sign the 20-year-old.

Crystal Palace have shown interest in the defender and even made a bid of €15m, which didn’t end up convincing the Czech side.

Africa Foot relay claims made in the UK and then give their own take on the Seagulls. The report states El Hadji Malick Diouf’s agent has confirmed the details of the potential deal with Brighton.

The outlet claims Brighton are ready to seal a deal for the fullback for €16m plus €2m in bonuses. A five-year contract worth €4m net per year is waiting for him at The Amex.

El Hadji Malick Diouf arrived at Slavia Prague from Norwegian side Tromsø IL in January 2024 and is in firm contention to become the record sale from the Czech league.
