Arnaut Danjuma’s agent has dismissed reports about a potential move to West Ham, stating “it is very unlikely” that his client will move to the London Stadium this summer.
That’s according to La Voz de Almeria, who cover comments Michael Moses made on Cadena SER about the potential transfer.
The outlet explains that Villarreal’s move for Umar Sadiq is currently on hold, with the player counting on strong interest from the Spanish side this summer.
The situation has not changed, but any move was down to Danjuma’s potential departure, which now appears to have hit the buffers.
He had been linked with a move to West Ham, but Cadena SER report that they have now ‘practically given up’ on a deal for the forward, despite being willing to pay almost €40m to sign him.
Everything had pointed towards the forward joining West Ham, but in the last few hours, the operation took a 180-degree turn and was ‘truncated’.
This has been confirmed by his agent, Moses, who has told the outlet, “it is very unlikely that Danjuma will go to West Ham,” because of “issues related to personal terms, which have not gone well.”.
He added that Danjuma is “completely calm” about the situation and that “if it happens, fine, and if it doesn’t happen, fine”, and for now “Danjuma is focused on LaLiga and the World Cup.”.
