Manchester United’s reported interest in the Grêmio forward Everton continues to be a big thing in Brazil, where this is the transfer rumour of the moment.
On Monday, we already covered quotes from club president Romildo Bolzan Junior and the player himself, both saying he still hasn’t been contacted by the Red Devils.
Now interviewed by Zero Hora, Everton’s agent Gilmar Veloz has also commented on the story. The outlet says that the representative heard the news with ‘no surprise’, although he claims he hasn’t been approached by Manchester United yet.
“The offer must arrive to Grêmio first,” Gilmar Veloz told Zero Hora.
Regarding a move in January or in the summer, Veloz claims that he would accept the situation which works for all parties involved.
“It always depends on the club that will make the purchase. Of course the main transfer window is the European summer, but there are also exceptions.”
Most of the Brazilian press has been covering The Sun’s claims that Manchester United would offer £30m for Everton, but local outlets still couldn’t confirm the news with their own sources.
