Italian newspaper Tuttosport today has a story with a lot of praise for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.
The outlet simply thought it would be a good time to say the player has been controlling the Blues’ tactical system for a couple of years now.
They say he’d been pretty important in Maurizio Sarri’s formation, and became even more crucial for Frank Lampard, who likes having him in the centre of the team’s creative sector.
Only after saying how good Jorginho is, then they talk about his future. And apparently, there’s some hope that Juventus could be signing him in the summer.
Tuttosport managed to interview Jorginho’s agent João Santos. The representative didn’t even try to shut down the rumours of a transfer, and actually claimed he’s expecting some offers in the transfer window.
“He is doing very well, I am sure that some important proposals will arrive because there are not many high-level players in his role,” he said.
João Santos has also been asked about the possibility of a move to Juventus, and he’s claimed it’s the Blues who’ll have the final word about it: “An hypothesis, but which we would obviously evaluate together with Chelsea”.
