Not all Portuguese newspapers have stories on Bruno Fernandes today. But those who do are bringing similar information.
A Bola and O Jogo both say the midfielder’s agent, Miguel Pinho, is flying to England today, and is set to receive the first official offers for the player.
A Bola says these offers should come from Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, while O Jogo only names the Red Devils and Spurs.
A Bola claims that the order of clubs listed by them is the same order of those who lead the race, with the Red Devils, who are ‘showing the biggest interest’, still being the most likely destination for Fernandes.
The newspapers also agree that despite being close to a move out of the club, Bruno Fernandes is joining the Sporting squad tomorrow, after having a few extra days off due to his time with the national team.
O Jogo adds that the player hasn’t even taken the photographs with the new kit, since he really isn’t expected to stay with the Lions for the next season.
A Bola also claims that the reports, which seemed to start in Italy, of a personal agreement with English clubs are not true. It’s said that Fernandes doesn’t see any sense in getting to a deal with a club if Sporting can simply sell him to some other side.
