The future of Frank Frabra continues to be discussed a lot in the South American media, with Everton’s interest in the player becoming a real thing.
The rumour regarding the chase started in the Colombian press last week. And when speaking to Sport Witness, his agent claimed not to have made any contact with the Toffees.
But things have been getting more public. First the Boca Juniors president confirmed Everton’s interest, and now the representative himself has been speaking about it.
Fabra’s agent Jose Constanzo has spoken to Caracol TV this Thursday, and named three of the clubs who could be taking the player from South America in the next transfer window.
“We’ve been in Europe working, seeing what teams are looking for left-back, we got to know that Everton were watching the player with Colombia, and now we wait. For now we have no formal proposal.”
“It’s not just Everton, Napoli are also following Frank, and Fiorentina could be another possibility, you have to bear in mind that the price is high and I think English football could be the one that can afford it.”
When speaking to Sport Witness, Constanzo has revealed that the player’s price should be his release clause, which is $15m. The agent also expressed the player’s wish to move to the Premier League, claiming that he thinks the left-back will end up playing in England.
