Alexander Sørloth’s decision to join Trabzonspor on loan from Crystal Palace has paid off as the striker has been sensational for the Turkish club this season.
The Norway international has 25 goals and seven assists in 39 matches and his displays for Trabzonspor have caught the attention of top clubs across Europe.
Liverpool, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Napoli and Bayern Munich were all reported to be looking at the 24-year-old, according to Fanatik.
Estadio Deportivo has relayed the claims made by the Turkish outlet and they wanted confirmation, which is why they decided to contact one of Sørloth’s agents, Morten Wivestad.
The representative has “confirmed” to ED that “there is a lot of interest” in his client.
Wivestad has not revealed details of those clubs interested in the Eagles owned player. The representative, however, did state there is “nothing serious” with regards to Sevilla and Real Madrid.
As part of the loan deal agreed between Crystal Palace and Trabzonspor, ED states the latter retain an option to make Sørloth’s transfer permanent for a fee of around €6m. They can exercise this option and sell the frontman for a higher fee.
According to the report, the Covid-19 crisis will lower Sørloth’s valuation, but he will easily go for €22-25m.
