Domagoj Vida’s agent Ugur Avaden has spoken to Radyospor about the latest developments over the future of the Besiktas defender after being linked with Liverpool and Everton.
Ajansspor have covered comments made by Avaden when asked bout the interest in Vida: “Having interest is quite normal. An offer must satisfy both Besiktas and Vida. Liverpool and Everton are among the clubs, and there are suitors from Spain. I know Barcelona follow him but this will be complicated. Atletico Madrid and Sevilla also showing an interest for him.”
In recent weeks Liverpool and Everton have been linked with the Croatia international after reports both Merseyside clubs tabled bids for the player.
Last week it was claimed Liverpool have offered €22m for Vida, are ‘very insistent’, and are looking to hold talks with Besiktas.
Everton too have reportedly made bids, with claims they could use Davy Klaassen (on loan) plus cash in a possible deal with the Turkish club.
However, Everton’s interest in the defender has gone quiet in the Turkish media in the past week, with Liverpool and West Ham United seemingly the clubs in pole to sign him.
Vida still has four years left on his Besiktas contract after joining the Turkish side on a free transfer in the last window.
