Nikola Vlasic’s agent Tonchi Martic, has spoken to the Russian media about the future of his client.
The Croatia international is currently on loan at CSKA Moscow from Everton.
Speaking to Championat, Pankov revealed the Everton owed player wants to remain in Russia: “At the moment, everything is possible with regards to future of Vlasic. Nikola really wants to stay at CSKA but the club must reach an agreement with Everton first.
“So far, there is no agreement, but talks are ongoing between the two parties. Nikola likes the club and the coach so we will see.”
Last week we covered reports from Turkey that Besiktas are also taking an interest in the Everton attacking midfielder ahead of the summer window.
It was claimed a scout from the Super Lig club was sent to watch the 22 year old when CSKA took on UFA earlier this month.
Besiktas are said to be considering making a loan offer to Everton for the youngster but it seems the Istanbul club will need to convince him given these comments from his agent.
Vlasic has made 25 appearances for CSKA Moscow in all competitions this season and scored 8 goals.
The Croatian is contracted to Everton until June 2022.
