The general consensus over the future of Paul Pogba has been that Juventus is the likeliest destination for him, with PSG another possibility.
Real Madrid have been linked with the midfielder for years, but the Spanish media haven’t gone strong on the possibility of a move recently. Florentino Perez has other targets in mind which he’d prefer to the Frenchman, even if Zinedine Zidane is a fan of the Manchester United player.
However, Mario Cenolli, described as an agent and intermediary by Calciomercato, believes otherwise and thinks a move to Real Madrid is on the cards for Pogba.
This would of course all be masterminded by Mino Raiola, who is now tasked with finding a new home for his client.
Cenolli is quoted as saying: “I think Pogba will go to Real Madrid. I don’t think he’s going to Juventus. In my opinion Mino Raiola will make a move of his own. I think it’s the right time for Real. There could be a big exchange of players with Manchester United. It might suit the British. I think it’s an operation for June.”
There’s no suggestion of which Real Madrid players Manchester United may be interested in should the Spanish club come forward, but it’s near certain Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side would prefer a conventional transfer so they can then spend the proceeds as they desire.
Of course, there’s always the possibility that none of Real Madrid, PSG or Juventus come forward for the transfer, and that could create a difficult situation for Raiola.
