Galatasaray have turned their attention to Badou N’Diaye, which may be of interest to West Ham. On July 11th Sport Witness covered claims from Turkey that West Ham had wrapped up a deal to sign the player.

The Turkish giants have become frustrated in their attempts to sign Giannelli Imbula from Stoke City, and are now looking at alternatives to the Frenchman.

FutbolArena have reported Galatasaray have identified N’Diaye as an option, and the club’s CEO Cenk Ergun is set to hold talks with the player’s club Osmanlıspor.

FutbolArena say Galatasaray are looking to make an offer of €5m, plus Hakan Balta and Ryan Donk.

It seemed the player was on the verge of joining West Ham a couple of weeks ago, at least according to the claims in Turkey. Then last week it was claimed in the Turkish press that Osmanlıspor rejected a €7m offer from West Ham, with the selling club demanding €10m for the Senegalese international.

There’s no suggestion West Ham are preparing a second offer, so perhaps the Galatasaray reports are to give the English club a nudge.
