Okay Yokuslu to West Brom has been covered repeatedly by the media closest to Celta Vigo over the past few days, and it’s a transfer still expected to happened before the window closes.
La Voz de Galicia report it’s one of four pieces of business Celta are working on, with all of them ‘very advanced’. Specifically on Yokuslu, it’s stated the move ‘should be made official’ today and there’s no worry over any issues arising.
On Sunday we covered claims from Spain that the player had said goodbye to his Celta teammates and left for West Brom.
Celta originally wanted a clause that would have made the loan permanent in the summer, regardless of what happens in the rest of West Brom’s season. The Baggies instead wanted the clause to only be obligatory if they retain their Premier League status.
As discussions went on, Celta were happy to agree to this, but it was then reported Yokuslu wasn’t happy about there being any clause, instead wanting the deal to be a dry loan.
La Voz today say the move will be ‘granted without a purchase option’, the player feels this will give him the chance to attract other suitors ahead of the summer.
