According to a claim in the Italian media, Bologna are showing a strong interest in Southampton forward Manolo Gabbiadini.
The Italy international is struggling in his second season with the Premier League side, and his future is in doubt after the recent signing of Guido Carrillo.
TMW have reported Bologna are currently working on a deal to bring the Southampton player back to Serie A in the summer, as Roberto Donadoni looks to bolster his attacking options.
With Mattia Destro continuing to struggle in front of goal it seems former AC Milan star Donadoni is hoping to bring in a forward in the next window, and Gabbiadini is a strong option.
It’s claimed the Italian side will offer Gabbiadini a four year contract, with an option of another season.
Gabbiadini arrived at Southampton in the last winter window, and he got off to an impressive start in England.
However, the goals have dried up for the 26 year old in this campaign, with him scoring just three times in the Premier League.
