AC Milan and Lazio could move for Adam Lallana in the summer transfer window when his contract with Liverpool expires.
The midfielder is set to become a free agent in the summer, with Jürgen Klopp’s side yet to offer him a new deal or show any intention of doing so.
He has subsequently been linked with a move to reunite with former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City, but it seems there may be an opportunity to head to Italy.
According to Calciomercato.it, AC Milan considered a move in the January transfer window and will ‘come back to thinking about him’ in the summer should he leave Liverpool.
They are not the only Serie A side who could be interested, though, with the website stating that Lazio are another club to watch out.
They are ‘always attentive’ to free transfers, and if they were to qualify for the Champions League, which is looking increasingly likely, it could ‘entice’ Lallana to try something new in Italy.
