Mileta Rajovic had a decent 2023/24 season at Watford but was loaned out to Brondby in the summer.

He has four goals in all competitions for the Danish club so far and his latest came yesterday, when he grabbed an impressive brace against Midtjylland, helping his side pick up a 2-0 win.

His loan deal at Brondby has a recall clause for Watford and the striker spoke to TipsBladet about the possibility of returning to Vicarage Road in January.

He described it as a ‘special’ opportunity for himself and said: It is of course special when you don’t know what will happen in January.

“But I’m just trying to give it everything I can and we’ll see what happens. It is a special situation, but I will give everything I can for the club.”

While those comments do suggest that the 25-year-old would be open to returning to Watford, he was also asked about whether he will decide if the recall clause can be exercised or not.

“It’s both and. I also have my say, but Watford have a lot to say. But again, I take one fight at a time.”

In the 2023/24 season, Rajovic scored ten times in the Championship for the Hornets. Before leaving Brondby, he had scored once in the 2024/25 campaign as well.

Despite that, he remains Watford’s highest scoring centre-forward in the season and it may result in him returning in the new year.
