Turin newspaper Tuttosport expects Liverpool’s Emre Can to be Juventus’ first signing of the summer transfer market.
As the outlet lists a few transfers the Old Lady may be doing after the end of the season, they claim the arrival of the Liverpool player is the one that is closest to being done and can be ‘the first’.
According to the report, ‘one fact is certain’ – Can has already said yes to Juventus’ offer and it’s just the signature missing. The German midfielder is expected to join the Serie A side on a five-year contract, with a salary of €5m per season.
Obviously, things are not official yet obviously because of Liverpool’s important end of season, with a Champions League final to be played.
The local press will obviously be careful until Can finally signs the new contract, so after claiming everything is agreed, they cover the efforts from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich to sign him. We’re almost certain these efforts don’t actually exist.
Apparently Juventus can’t wait for this saga to be over.
And with this lack of exciting updates, neither can we.
Good chance Max Meyer will be offered to Liverpool by Roger Wittmann, and why the player may have a point about Schalke and Heidel. https://t.co/hVAPsZflHy #lfc pic.twitter.com/OXwrLrpAwr
