Around ten days it was reported in Italy that Leeds United had made an approach for Moise Kean.
Currently on loan at Hellas Verona, Kean is owned by Juventus who surely see a long term future for the player with them.
Leeds United were said to have offered better terms that Hellas Verona, but the loan side weren’t interested in giving up the player. Kean is on relatively big wages with Juventus and Leeds would have covered most of them, something Hellas don’t currently do.
It looked an ambitious January attempt to say the least and now comments from the player’s agent underline just how highly rated Kean is.
Mino Raiola is one of the top agents in world football, representing players including Paul Pogba and Mario Balotelli.
Speaking to radio about Pietro Pellegri’s recent €20m move to AS Monaco, Raiola is quoted by TMW as saying: “Kean is worth 75 then, for me he is stronger than Pellegri, has the security that does not disappear in three years. Pellegri has so many things to learn, he can be one of the strongest in the world, if in three years he manages to keep it then they did a good deal.”
Probably best shelving this idea for Leeds United then.
