According to Turkish newspaper AMK Spor, Galatasaray will today make an approach to Manchester United over the possibility of signing Marouane Fellaini.
With Badou Ndiaye’s move to Stoke City close to completion the Turkish side are in the market for a midfielder to replace him, and AMK say their prime target is Fellaini.
The Belgian midfielder’s contract with Manchester United will expire at the end of the season and according to the Turkish newspaper, Galatasaray have already entered into discussions over a move in the summer.
However, with Ndiaye set for his move to Stoke City, Galatasaray want to sign Fellaini now, and they’ve asked Manchester United how much they would have to offer.
Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim is reportedly a huge fan of the Belgian and he’s given the green light to the move.
AMK say if the Turkish giants manage to convince Manchester United, then they’ll likely offer a 4 and half year contract to Fellaini. They are also willing to pay the Belgium international €3.5m a season, which would be after tax.
It feels like Fellaini-to-Turkey happens at the end of every transfer window.
