According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray will make a decision in the coming days with regards to Newcastle United’s bid for their midfielder Badou Ndiaye.
Yesterday we covered reports from Turkey that Newcastle United have offered €18m for the Senegal international.
Fotomac have reported on the latest developments over Nidaye’s future with the Turkish side, following a ‘serious proposal’ from Newcastle United in the past few days.
It’s been revealed Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim has been informed about the Premier League side’s bid, and a decision will be made soon.
Rafael Benitez will be looking to strengthen his squad in this window, and after being linked with Ndiaye in the last window the interest makes some sense.
Galatasaray stand to make a decent profit on the player if they accept Newcastle United’s reported offer of €18m. The Turkish giants signed the central midfielder for just €7.5m last summer, despite the attention from Premier League clubs.
Newcastle United fans understandably doubt such an offer has gone in, but if the claims are true it could mean someone is leaving St James’ Park and providing the funds.
